Terms of use for the SiltaTek platform, software licenses and related services.
Last updated: February 2026 — Version 2.01. Definitions
- Controller: Martone Fabio, individual person, Via del Carrara 43, 55010 Capannori (LU), Italy, Italian tax code MRTFBA93P01G491B.
- Platform or Service: the SiltaTek ecosystem, including the web panel, the Android app SiltaFlow, the Windows application Label Creator and the Chrome extension Odoo Label Printer.
- User: the professional or company using the Service.
- License: the right to use the Service according to the purchased plan.
- API Key: the unique key generated by the system to authenticate a device.
- Credits: consumption units used for artificial-intelligence features.
- Provider or Supplier: a third party registered on the Platform that offers technical support services to Users.
- Support Contract: an agreement between User and Provider for technical support through the Platform.
2. Nature of the Service and Acceptance
The Service is intended only for professionals and businesses (B2B). By registering and using the Platform, the User declares and guarantees that they act within their professional or business activity. Access takes place through Google Sign-In and does not allow direct verification of the professional nature of the User; registration therefore constitutes an implicit declaration that the User operates as a professional or business.
By using the Service, the User declares that they are at least 16 years old, act within their professional or business activity, have read and accepted these Terms of Service and have read and accepted the Privacy Policy.
3. Account and Access
Access to the Service uses Google Sign-In. The User is responsible for the security of their Google account and for all activities carried out through their account on the Platform. Any unauthorized access must be reported immediately to info@siltatek.com.
4. License of Use
When a plan is purchased, the Controller grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and limited license according to the features and limits of the purchased plan. The license is linked to the User account. Each device requires association through an API Key. The User may revoke an API Key and assign it to another device at any time, within the limits of their plan.
5. Plans and Subscriptions
The Service is available in different plans with different features, device limits and monthly credits. Updated plan details, including prices and features, are available in the dedicated area of the web panel.
Plans may have weekly, monthly or yearly billing cycles. The User may upgrade at any time; the cost is calculated pro rata for the remaining period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Credits
Each plan includes a number of monthly credits for AI features. Monthly credits reset on the first day of each month and do not carry over. Purchased credit packs do not expire and remain in the User balance until used. Purchased credits are consumed only after the monthly credits included in the plan are exhausted.
7. Payments and Billing
Payments for plans and credit packs are handled by Lemon Squeezy Inc. as Merchant of Record. Displayed prices include VAT and are denominated in Euro (EUR); conversion into other currencies is applied automatically according to the country of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless the User disables renewal from the web panel before the renewal date. Invoices and payment receipts are issued by Lemon Squeezy or by the payment processor used for the transaction.
The Controller may change prices, plans or included features for technical, commercial or service-evolution reasons. Price changes for active subscriptions are communicated in advance and apply from the first renewal after the notice. If the User does not accept the new price, they may disable automatic renewal before the renewal date.
8. Refund Policy
The User may request a refund from the Subscriptions section of the web panel, specifying the invoice and the reason for the request. The request is evaluated within 72 hours; the actual refund is processed by Lemon Squeezy according to payment-system timing.
Refunds do not apply to credits already used, service periods already fully consumed or requests submitted beyond a reasonable time from purchase. Total or partial refunds may be granted. If a refund is approved, the licenses and credits associated with the refunded invoice are revoked.
9. API Keys and Devices
- Each device requires a unique API Key for authentication.
- The API Key is personal and cannot be transferred to third parties.
- The User may revoke an API Key from the web panel to free a device slot.
- Regenerating an API Key is allowed once every seven days.
- If compromise is suspected, the affected API Key must be revoked immediately.
10. Vouchers and Promotional Codes
The Controller may issue vouchers and promotional codes at its discretion. Vouchers are single-use and allow licenses to be obtained for a defined period for promotional or evaluation purposes. Promotional codes may grant percentage discounts, fixed amounts, free credits or free trial days and are subject to their own validity conditions.
11. Bundles
The Service may offer combined packages (Bundles) including licenses for multiple applications and/or credits at a favorable price compared with separate purchase. Available Bundles and their contents are shown in the web panel. A refund of a Bundle is total and causes revocation of all licenses and credits included in the package.
12. Support Contracts with Third-Party Providers
The Platform allows Users to purchase technical support from approved third-party Providers. Support contracts may be single interventions, monthly subscriptions, yearly subscriptions or prepaid ticket packs.
The price varies according to the number of active User devices and the plan offered by the Provider. After the contract is entered into, the Provider has 48 hours to validate the request; if validation does not occur, the payment is automatically refunded. The Platform acts only as a technical intermediary between User and Provider, and the Controller is not responsible for the quality, timing or adequacy of Provider services.
13. AI Features
Some application features, such as description generation, OCR, suggestions and data alignment, use third-party artificial-intelligence services. No AI provider is imposed by the Service: the User chooses and configures the preferred provider and enters their own API keys. Data sent to those services is under the User's responsibility.
AI outputs are provided as suggestions and must always be reviewed and confirmed by the User before use. User data is not used to train AI models or for purposes other than delivering the requested service.
14. User Obligations
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- Keep API Keys and access credentials confidential.
- Do not share credentials with third parties.
- Do not attempt to bypass license or plan limits.
- Do not decompile, redistribute, modify or reverse engineer the software.
- Do not use the Service for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
- Test applications and updates in the User's own environment before production use.
15. Intellectual Property
The software, source code, graphics, trademarks and all Platform content are the exclusive property of the Controller and are protected by copyright and intellectual-property laws. Reproduction, distribution, decompilation or modification of the software without written authorization is prohibited.
The User remains the owner of all data and content entered, generated or processed through the Service, including labels, imported data and configurations. Labels and templates created with the applications may be used freely by the User for commercial purposes; the User remains responsible for the legal compliance of their content.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
The applications interact with third-party systems such as Odoo servers, AI services and printers, whose configurations may vary significantly. The User must test all applications and updates in their own work environment before production use.
17. Limitation of Liability
The Controller shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, including loss of data, business interruption, damage to Odoo databases or damage to other User systems. The User accepts that the Service is used under their own responsibility after appropriate testing.
18. Scale Function
Label Creator includes a scale function for weighing through connected devices. This feature is intended only for internal warehouse purposes, such as piece counting and inventory, and cannot be used for legally relevant weighing because the system is not registered under applicable metrology rules.
19. Service Levels
- No minimum uptime is guaranteed.
- No credits or compensation are due in case of downtime.
- Scheduled maintenance is communicated with at least 72 hours' notice where possible.
- The maximum response time for technical support requests is 96 hours.
20. Changes to the Terms
The Controller may amend these Terms of Service. In case of changes, the User will be informed through a banner in the web panel with at least 30 days' notice before the new terms enter into force. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
21. Suspension and Termination
The Controller may suspend or terminate the User account in case of breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraudulent or abusive activity, suspicious behavior, or attempts to bypass license limits or security measures. The User may dispute a suspension by contacting info@siltatek.com.
22. Service Discontinuation
If the Service is discontinued, Users will receive at least one month's notice. Users with active subscriptions are entitled to a proportional refund for the paid and unused period. The applications are designed to operate independently for basic features, and the Controller may make them available under an open-source license if the Service is discontinued.
23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute concerning the interpretation or execution of these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Lucca, Italy. Information on alternative dispute resolution in the European Union is available at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
