App Overview
SiltaFlow is the complete Android suite for those who work with Odoo. On this page you will find a description of what the app does, how it is organized and where to start.
What is SiltaFlow
SiltaFlow is an Android application designed to extend Odoo's functionality in the field, without needing a computer. You can manage the product catalog, operate the warehouse, print labels, sign digital documents and much more — all from the same mobile device you already have in your pocket or mounted on your forklift.
The app connects directly to your Odoo server and works in real time: every change you make — whether it's a goods receipt, order picking or catalog update — is immediately reflected in the Odoo backend, without intermediate steps or manual imports.
SiltaFlow is compatible with Odoo 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19. Some advanced features (such as the "Picked" toggle or real-time notifications via Odoo Bus) require Odoo 16 or later.
What you can do with SiltaFlow
The app covers four main operational areas. Each is independent: you can use only the module you need, or combine them all in the same work shift.
| Area | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Product Management | Search for items in the Odoo catalog, generate descriptions with AI, take and retouch photos, manage suppliers and packaging, work from Excel files |
| Label Printing | Print product labels on Zebra, Brother, thermal ESC/POS, WiFi and Bluetooth printers with customizable templates and 12 barcode formats |
| Warehouse Center | Manage the entire goods flow: purchases, receipt, picking, batch picking, packing, deliveries, inventory, batches, returns and much more |
| Documents and Quality | Digital signature of documents, quality non-conformance management, event check-in and attendance tracking |
The Home Screen
When you open SiltaFlow, the home screen shows all available areas organized in sections with icons and names. From here you access all modules with a single tap.
In the top bar you find the name of the Odoo server you are connected to and, if you have configured AI, the remaining credit balance. You can tap this information to quickly access connection settings.
If this is the first time you open the app, you will be asked to configure the connection to the Odoo server. Consult the Connection and Authentication guide for detailed steps.
SiltaFlow Modules
Product Management
This module allows you to work on the Odoo product catalog directly from your smartphone. It consists of three distinct operating modes.
Online Mode
Access the Odoo catalog in real time, search for products by name, barcode or internal code, modify fields directly from the product card and generate professional descriptions with artificial intelligence (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, OpenRouter or custom endpoint). You can also take photos with the camera, automatically remove the background and upload them directly to Odoo.
Excel Mode
Import an Excel file with your items, configure a mapping profile between the spreadsheet columns and Odoo fields, then scan barcodes one at a time to enrich or create products in batch. Ideal for managing large catalogs or supplier catalogs to be updated periodically.
Web Mode
An optimized WebView that loads the complete Odoo backend with automatic SSO access (without re-entering credentials), floating barcode scanner that injects the value into the active field, and smart PDF and Excel downloads with Blob URL management.
Product Label Printing
The label printing module is a universal control center that supports five different printing technologies on a single interface.
- Zebra Link-OS SDK — Bluetooth and WiFi connection, bitmap printing, automatic discovery
- Brother Print SDK — Support for QL, TD, RJ, PT, PJ and MW models via Bluetooth and WiFi
- Generic thermal ESC/POS — Any thermal printer with SPP Bluetooth profile, 58mm and 80mm paper
- Android Print Framework — Print to any WiFi, USB or cloud printer already configured in the Android system
- Wi-Fi Direct — Direct P2P connection or via SSID without intermediate router
The template engine uses a custom JSON format that supports text, barcodes (12 formats), rectangles, lines, tables and images. Templates can include formulas, calculated fields and conditional visibility rules.
Warehouse Center
The Warehouse Center is SiltaFlow's most extensive module. It groups over 20 functions organized into six operational areas, all accessible from the central hub with quick search and warehouse selector.
| Area | Functions included |
|---|---|
| Goods Receipt | Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt with GS1 and batches |
| Goods Dispatch | Sales Orders, Picking, Smart Batch Picking, Wave Picking, Packing Zone, Deliveries |
| Internal Operations | Internal Transfers, Classic Batch Picking, Pallet Transfer, Pallet Consolidation |
| Stock Management | Stock Search, Location Navigation, Physical Inventory, Scrap, Replenishment |
| Returns | Management of returns from customers and suppliers with stock re-entry |
| Traceability | Packages and Parcels, Batches and Serial Numbers with movement history and FEFO |
Documents, Quality and Events
SiltaFlow also includes modules for corporate support areas.
- Documents and Digital Signature — View and digitally sign Odoo documents directly from the app, with signature upload as an attachment and chatter message.
- Quality Control — Non-conformance management and quality alerts integrated with warehouse flows (e.g. reporting anomalies during goods receipt).
- Event Management and Attendance — Participant check-in with barcode or QR Code scanner, employee attendance tracking.
How this documentation is organized
SiltaFlow documentation is divided into sections that follow the app's structure. Each module has its own section with dedicated guides.
- Getting Started — This overview and the initial connection guide. Start here if this is your first time using SiltaFlow.
- Product Management — Detailed guides for Online Mode, Excel Mode and Web Mode.
- Label Printing — Guide to printer configuration, template creation and print queue management.
- Warehouse Center — A guide for each sub-module: receipt, picking, batch, inventory and all others.
- Documents, Quality, Events — Guides for support modules.
Before you start
To use SiltaFlow you need:
- An Android device with version 10 or later
- An active Odoo server reachable from the device's network (local or via internet)
- Odoo access credentials: server address, database name, user and password
- Camera built into the device (for barcode scanning, product photos and signature)
For the Artificial Intelligence modules, an API key from one of the supported providers (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, Perplexity or OpenRouter) is also required. This configuration is optional and does not block the use of the rest of the app.
SiltaFlow requires permissions for camera, local storage and Bluetooth connection (for label printing). These permissions are requested the first time you access the corresponding feature.
First Launch
On first launch of SiltaFlow, the app guides you through configuring the connection to the Odoo server. The process takes just a few minutes.
- Install SiltaFlow on your Android device from the link in the Siltatek Download page
- Open the app: you will be shown the connection configuration screen
- Enter the Odoo server address (e.g. https://mymanagement.odoo.com), database, user and password
- Tap "Verify Connection" — if everything is correct you will see a confirmation message
- Save the settings and start using the app
